Explore Donna's Vast Curriculum before you get started. She offers two types of classes: Workshop Courses and Seminars. The Workshop Courses give a broad overview of bidding, play, defense, and deductive reasoning. Seminars are shorter, single topic classes that highlight a specific technique pulled from the Workshops.
After you've familiarized yourself with Donna's curriculum, there are 2 ways to take classes:
1. Live online classes – take classes in real time and ask questions, just like you would in person. Check out the daily mini lessons while you're at it.
2. Recorded classes with notes – classes you can buy and watch on your own time. You will also get a handout of notes. Read about them here. Buy them here.
To share the classes with you, Play Better Bridge uses a program called Sharefile. Each pre-recorded class comes with practice hands that you can replay in real-time in a program called Shark Bridge. Please see our Program Tutorials for how to use these easy programs.
Donna's lessons are challenging and thought-provoking - while still being something I can figure out how to use!
I am thankful I can access the handouts for all my courses in Sharefile. Sometimes when I get a little turned around, I go back to my earliest courses.
New to bridge. The classes are a lot of fun and very instructive. I like that you present the reasoning behind a decision in your presentation.
Pass, Bid or Double is one of the topics that I have been searching for to upgrade my bridge game. I knew I needed to understand this concept to be more competitive, I just did not know what it was called!
